Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. Our telephone lines are available for scheduling appointments from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. When you call please inform the receptionist as to the nature of the visit so that adequate time can be scheduled. We do our best to accomodate same day visits for sick children. If you wish to have more than one child seen, please tell the receptionist at the time you make the appointment. This way enough time will be allotted for your family.

Telephone Calls During Routine Hours

If you have a concern, do not hesitate to call during routine hours. The staff has been instructed and trained to give you advice and they can usually answer routine questions. If they cannot, your call will be referred to the doctor.

Telephone Calls After Hours

If there are questions after hours, you can call our main office number 623-388-3216. Our answering service will then direct you to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Triage service. Each member of the staff is a pediatric-experienced registered nurse and HIPAA tested and compliant. They receive ongoing, quality pediatric education through Phoenix Children’s and they keep informed on national standards for triage nursing.

Payment For Services

Payment is required at the time of service. Cash, check, debit, or credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. If you are unable to pay the balance due, stop and discuss payment plans with our staff.

You will receive a statement for any unpaid co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, or charges your insurance has pended because they need a response from you in order to process the claim. We expect payment of your account within twenty days from the date of statement.

Please be aware that not all health insurance plans provide the same coverage for well and sick visits. For example, some insurance companies will cover the costs of a yearly physical, well baby exams, and immunizations. Others do not. You are ultimately responsible for the services provided to your child.
